Action Alert: Petition against the Annan plan on the invasion of Cyprus.
Dear friend,
I would like to ask you to sign a very important petition related to Hellas and Cyprus: http://www.greece.org/themis/cyprus/annan/
The petition says NO to the plan attributed to Kofi Annan on Cyprus. That plan is STILL being considered as something that can lead to fair negotiations even though it treats EQUALLY the victims and the perpetrators of the INVASION of Cyprus and ignores the resolutions of the United Nations and the European Court of Human Rights. Please, share this action alert with everyone you know and ask your colleagues, relatives and friends to join this effort to prevent that another disgrace is imposed on Hellas and Cyprus.
Also, if possible, please, write to the newspapers, news agencies, TV and radio stations, discussion lists and Hellenic organizations and ask them to promote the petition and endorse it. That plan should NEVER be accepted because it would LEGITIMIZE the several crimes against humanity perpetrated by Turkey during the 28 years of INVASION of a large part of Cyprus and would tell the whole world that even the United Nations consider acceptable when Hellenic lands are stolen and Hellenes are massacred.
